Oaken Recieves the EggletterThe sun twinkled in little specks of glistening dew that slept upon the tips of the green grass blades on the herald's morning route. It was about 8:30am in the town of Liefmeyr and many of its folk had begun the morning routine. Robins, who chanted to one another happenings of birdly morning affairs, found a resting spot together and perched atop on of the many stone cottages with hay thatched roofs. Farmers were just putting on their straw hats to protect from the summer sun. Entertainers were still asleep from the parties of last night. Together in the parkQuiet chaos of the dying leaves The leaves tell many 'a different story All fallen among the trunks of trees Underfoot the leaves make a crunching sea The crunching of leaves emits a song Park benches on our left and right Seeking out the one that's right Slowly but joyfully walking along Lamps are the only bea'ers of light Our breath is seen in light of the posts We fear not the enemy of our hands We're bundled snugly in puffy coats For when we embrace our warmth transcends And if your hands do get cold in this weather I'll be right here to fix it betterTogether in the park
